We need to start a game studio
The hard part of building a game just got small enough for a few friends to do it together — so I’d rather start a studio than keep making things alone.

I've wanted to make games my whole life. The thing that stopped me was how much one person has to be — every layer to learn, and every small piece taking forever before it even works. So I kept it small. That changed when the tools changed. The grinding parts are tractable now, so a few people with taste can actually finish something together.
So let’s start a studio
We need to start a game studio.
I mean that plainly. This isn't about money or beating anyone — almost nobody in VR is building this way yet. It's about getting genuinely good at something that's ours, making experiences we'd actually spend time in, and doing it together instead of each of us alone. I've spent the last while building the infrastructure for exactly this — the agent fleet and the pipeline that runs it — and I'm ready to be the one who holds it together.
Why now
Making a game used to be the hardest thing a small group could take on — every layer to learn, years of it. That barrier fell. The tools carry the technical grind now, so a few people with taste can finish what used to need a studio, and you can start while it's this cheap. The other half is what lasts: a lot of what software used to sell — the quick answer, the how-to — is turning into something you just ask an AI for. What that never touches is being somewhere with other people — a world you're in together, a story you only got because you were there. That's what a game is. Building got easy at the same moment experiences became the thing that holds their value.
Some of us are somewhere with no great options right now — the wrong place, the wrong year, not enough money to bet on yourself. This path doesn't need money to start. The inputs are the tools we already have and each other. Each of us can get good at using AI to move faster through the grind, while the art and the taste stay ours.
And it carries past VRChat. The same approach applies just as well to a 2D game we make together, and that's where my conversational-AI work comes in — characters with a real inner life, written into a game instead of bolted on. I'd love to build those with friends too.
There’s real room in VRChat
The worlds people come back to — the ones they play again and again — are the ones that earn their makers a living, and good new ones come slowly. I keep finding experiences I wish existed. Almost nobody is building them with these tools yet, and that gap is wide open.
I’ve done it once already
I've already built a proof of concept — a co-op survival world where the core mechanics work. It's not finished gameplay, and that was never the point. What it proves is the approach: that a small team can build a world like this with AI. That's what matters here — the next ones I want to build with people from the start.
Come build with me
You don't need to be an engineer — I set you up with your own agents for the technical heavy lifting and teach you to drive them, so you bring the art and the taste. If you make art, write code, mess around in Unity, or just love games, there's a place for you here. Come start it with me.
